Leaking shower head

Hi all

Our shower head drips. We don't use the shower at all, so much of the time we use the space for storing various items such as wet towels on a clothes horse, shoes etc. But with the shower head dripping, it can be a bit of a nuisance. Has anyone else experinced this and what can be done to stop it?

Any info would be appreciated.

A plumber i once worked with suggested using bread, but that was for allowing a dry weld after draining off the water.

Worth a try if you cant cap the shower off, also place the shower head as high as possible.

To cap it off try removing the shower head, covering the end with cling film or simular, then replace the shower head.

thanks guys - I'll try the cling film first, then if that fails, it'll have to be a new seal - I may be back to ask further instructions.....!
