Leaking Tuma water heater

Recently we went away for the weekend with our Bailey Ranger and for the first time we set up without electric hookup. I set up everything as one should and removed the cowl cover on the side of the van. Withing the first hour of setting up, my partner noticed that hot water was pouring out of the bottom of the cowl (not the drain hole)and wouldnt stop until I switched off the pump. So all weekend we had to only switch on the pump as and when we needed water. Has anyone any clue as to what this might be.

Colin, if you are talking about the Ultrastore water heater, then it would seem that the tank may have sprung a leak as that is the only way water can get to the vent cowl.

I suggest you ask Truma to get one of their engineers to call on you and investigate.
