Leaking water pump

Can anyone suggest a solution to a leaking water pump ?whenever we put pump on, the connection that goes into caravan sprays water everywhere ..hence I am spending a lot of time at the tap filling up water containers.I have replaced with new o ring but still no joy !!Any ideas??
 
As a get by measure, in the past i have wraped some ptfe tape round the pushin part, mine was a constant drip, this sorted it.
 
If you dont lubricate the socket O ring seals before you push the pump on it can dislodge the seal or even split it, so try a bit of silicone grease on it.

i also had the same fault on are old caravan which had a whale system and all i did was change the unit and it worked fine and stopped the leak and the need to top up the water so often
