Leaking window

I have a eldiss avante and the front r/h window(as you look at it from front)starting misting up,now after the recent rain the window has about 2" of water inside how do i deal with this and where will it be leaking in?is it best to try and source a second hand window cheers andrew.

Hi Andrew, sounds to me like a hair line crack in the outer plastic section of the window, look close and see if you can see it. i dont know what you could use to seal it, may be super glue in the crack but have the window flat as you do it. failing that look on you know who bay on the net there are a few second hand windows on there. Andrew

I have just had the same problem on my 2006 Lunar Ultima EW. Mine was the left hand window or offside. We had a bad rain storm which resulted in an inch of water in the bottom of the window. Mine dried out over the next two weeks, as I had to wait for the replacement window on warranty for 6 weeks.

The cause on mine was obvious the the inner glazing is bonded or glued to the outer, mine had parted all the way down the inside edge about 10 inches. You could take hold of the window lock and pull the two acrylic layers apart.New window was fitted on Monday and took about 30 minutes.

Regards Jim
