leaky loo

wonder if anyone can help,we have an older abbey 214 with thetford cassette toilet, problem is when we fill the fresh water flush tank it leaks from somewhere inside the base and makes all the kitchen floor wet, obviously we have stopped using the loo but has anyone any ideas if its easy to fix or is it a workshop job? thanks,Mark

Hi! Mark

I had the same problem in my caravan, and it was found to be a split pipe. My advice to you would be to take it in to a dealer or have a service engineer call around and take a look. You will have to remove the toilet from its location to check the pump and fittings in the rear of the unit to establish the cause of the water leak, could well be something simple.

Good Luck

Bob
