Leave Caravan at Home

Thinking of leaving the Caravan at home this year and using a site supplied one, hence my question. Does anyone know of an internet site which offers overnight accomadation close to autoroutes (A1 & A10)?

Do you mean a hotel near the autoroute? If so, then on almost all the autoroute junctions, near major towns, you'll find many budget hotels on the route into town, or well-signposted nearby. The website http://www.eurapart.com/budget.html has links to many of the budget chains, and you can look for hotels in the areas you're thinking of.

We've stayed in many of them - and there are also many other family run hotels in french towns - some very cheap indeed.

The IBIS chain of hotels offer good basic and clean accommodation close to most of the French Motorway networks.

Used them many, many times, and they are perfectly OK. Most are very easy to find, and well signposted from the junctions.

You can book online in any country in which they have hotels (including France), and check availability immediately.
