leaving van on site

been on various cc sites lately and seen more and more vans on site which no body is using. Last weekend 3 were on hardstanding pitches that were not used friday or saturday night we had to go on grass and cope with almost 2 inch of mud, now on a different site and on the row we are on 4 out of the 8 were not used last night. theses are all the prime pitches nearest to the toilet block

I know people will say how do you know, well no water containers outside etc plus I do not sleep very well and take the dog for walks at all hours.

I did not think that you were allowed to do this for more than one night.

Anyway at least I am away off o blackpool on saturday then winchcombe day after boxing.

Hi Charlie

Some CC sites have seasonal or part seasonal pitches, therefore it would not be surprising to find unattended vans on pitches.

Yes Charlie, I must be getting old and grumpie, thie is one of my now many moans.

One of my favourite all year sites which is constantly full has many unattended caravans.

Ok they are paying fees but no one is having the ability to enjoy what the site has to offer from these piches.

Ok! no more griping.

Do not forget the 28 dayers and the workers

There was poss/still is about 10 caravans at Taversal Who are there long term as they are employed in the local hospital And if you happen to be down bottom end of site they are in there cars ticking over waiting for the gates to open at 7am
