Hi Dave. If you go onto E bay and search for item 300190375539

this will show you direct relacement bubls for the caravan. If you want to play about yourself go to www.goodwillsales.com. They are cheap and very helpful. Nigel.

Thanks for the info as I was also keen to upgrade to LED bulbs.

Is there a technique for getting the MR11 type bulbs out easily ?

Bill

The bulbs we have in our home kitchen light came with a rubber sucker that sticks to the glass and allows you to twist the bulb.Do not lick the sucker to make it stick,it slips!!!!

My son used the sucker on a childs arrow from a bow & arrow set!!

Ahem!

Mr Thicky at the back here.....

Please indulge me -

Is it possible to convert my halogen spotlights in my van to LED's?

Advice much appreciated.

Mac

MR11 bulbs are push in types so do not try to twist them.

On ours there is a spring clip which can be released with finger and thumb and then the bulb just drops out.

You do not need to worry too much about touching the surface of the bulb as the halogen bulb is a separate bulb within the envelope, although it can still get very hot if you have just had them on.

We have changed to LEDs and are very happy with them, although I would say the radiated colour is not as "warm" as the halogens.
