Leg locks

Do you use caravan leg locks? Are they a useful extra piece of security or a waste of money? We have a wheel lock, hitch lock and security post, plus a tracker. Thanks.

As the Prof says; all devices act more of a deterrent than a barrier. If they really want your van; they will take it regardless of what you have on it. If they are cruising for opportunity then they will pass yours by.
If steady locks give you more peace of mind then get them. I don't think that they will reduce your insurance premium though, which may be an indication of how the insurance world views them?

The best sort are the ones that actually lock the 19mm hexagon winding "nut" in place. Some simply cover it, so while preventing the legs being wound up conventionally there's nothing stopping a thief winding them up from the other end using pliers/grips etc.
