Leger Battlefield tours

Just returning from a 5 day tour with Leger. Great experience throughout. A could have tiny things I could complain about but that is always going to be the case.

Drivers very professional couch clean and comfy, Guidry highly knowledgable.

Very full days, and too short a time in some places, so will need to go back. Might do a car tour.

Looks really good. I’ve been considering a Leger tour to the U boat museum in Germany. I have asked the company what the seat spacing is on Silver and Luxuria as being 6 ft 4 inches I’d want to have ample leg room. I did think about going up to one of the motorway services where they interchange and see if I could get a quick gander.

Well. After a great week. We board the return feeder coach. At the bottom of the slip road to Cobham services, we were hit in the back by a Discovery. Coach managed to crawl into the services. Now stranded waiting for info.

A couple of people on coach complaining of mild whiplash. I know the driver of the Disco is at least not badly hurt.

My guess os damage £50,000 lid.

We went on a Luxuria as our feed in coach, then a silver for the holiday. We found the Silver better. But I think your testing idea is a good one.

Thank you for the reply. What was it about the Silver that you preferred. We’re there any tal ones on the tour IE old style Guardsmen before the height requirement was reduced.

There is a rear camera on the coach, so they will be able to see. We were only crawling in heavy traffic.

No plans yet. I need to suss out if my friend was truly happy pushing me around in the wheelchair. Then take it from there. We may even go back to some of the visits again but by car. Stay in an AB&B, I can drive, and he can push.

Another shout-out for Leger. After the accident, they organised taxis and minibusses sufficient to get us all home. No mean feat on a Friday evening. we were only home 1.5 hours after our ETA.
