We are due to travel to the above on Sunday, but just watching the news and it showed Berkshire under water. We are staying at the Holiday Inn, Maidenhead, can anyone tell us if Legoland is affected?

Hi Yvonne,

Yesterday it was affected because the weather was bad here. It was still open but my son said they had to close some of the rides. One of the rides was the rollercoaster because of the thunder and can you believe a woman demanded for it to be opened so she could go on it lol. Today the weather is fine so far so i think you`ll be ok.

if you have got small children theres only about 7 things they can go on. i stayed in a hotel for 2 nights and had a 2 day pass. what a rip off, legoland is really hilly and you have to que for each ride about 30 mins you dont have time to go on everything. afetr the 30-45mins que you go on for 2 mins then its over. i wouldnt go there again if you paid for me its a huge rip off sorry but thats my opinion.

go to drayton manor better park, more to do, theres a zoo and a caravan park and its cheaper.

thanks for the replies. We did venture down, and what a disappointment, my hubby thought it was good and so did the kids. Like Jo-anne we had a 2 night hotel stay and 3 day pass. Yes it is a bit of a rip-off,
