Does anyone know of any good parks in Leicestershire. Its a beautiful county, Charnwood Forest etc.I have trawled through various searchs but sites seem to be almost devoid in this area.

Look at the sites in Rutland, near to Rutland water.there are also a few CL's in this area, which you will find in the caravan club sites book if you have it.I have lived in Leicestershire all my life, camp sites are few and far between in this area. Why I don't know why as it is a lovely rural area with lots of small towns of interest.

I believe the CCC have one in moira, just off the a42.

There is also a cl,just off the loughborough ring road, quorn end.

called quorn lodge. www.quorn-lodge.co.uk.

Would not bother with proctors park at barrow on soar, but might be ok,also a good site at barrow marina.sorry no details.

There are very few one that might appeal is Bosworth Water Park,at Market Bosworth. It has sailing, fishing and is handy for canal walks, steam railway(next door) and Market Bosworth and the Battlefield.

Hi David where is Inghills Farm and do you know if it has EHU it might do for me as near for weekend with friends,I am between Jtn 10 & 11 of M42

Hi Plotts

Yes it does have ehu. It has a couple of showers too but they are unisex and only separated by curtains?? It's in Ashby De La Zouch and access is good.

This sounds terrible but there are two sort of like garden sheds each with a toilet in but no lights.

The owners are quite friendly and the countryside is nice. The small town is ok too.

They were in the process of planting loads of trees when we stayed there. We'll go back when things settle down a bit at home.
