Leisure Battery Terminals

Been looking at leisure batteries on the net, with a view to replacing ours. On some there are four terminals but I can't seem to find out why? Can anyone help?

Maybe it is to connect batteries in parallel

From the reading on this ad it is so that you have the option of using different types of battery terminal but not both at the same time!

Batteries with four terminals are often intended as marine batteries, ie engine starting and deep cycle - the four terminals are to allow seperate connections for each use.
