I'm storing my van on it's seasonal pitch over winter, should I leave the leisure battery in situ or remove it and take it home.

The van has a solar panel but I don't know if it trickle charges the battery.

I am never one to assume things, but, with a solar panel fitted, it could only be hooked up to the battery. Is a solar controller fitted? Any idea on the size of the panel? Is the storage under cover or open air?

Open air, this is the best shot I have of it, the Sargent hasn't shown any lights since being on the EHU.

In the past 20 or more years we have never taken the battery home even when we did not have a solar panel.
