Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it`s possible to get to the nearest villages/towns by footpath or cycleroute from this site as we have youngish children and don`t really want to have to drive.(The site appears to be a bit isolated)

There's a cycle/footpath into Collioure - but it's not easy cycling (lots of ups and downs) - and Collioure has only a limited range of shops - and you'd need to drive the other way into Argeles where you'll find larger supermarkets.
 
I am with Val on this one, it looks a pretty spot but not convenient for the town.However if its shopping you are thinking of there would be no problem driving to Carrefour but if I was you with children I would go for one of the sites in Argeles itself (this one is midway between Ageles and Collioure)
