Lac Lacanau has several good camping/caravaning sites, they are very popular during the main holiday period Mid July - Late august.

My favorite is in the pine forest adjacent to the Lac about 1 mil;e past Lacanua's main lake side area.

Fishing, sailing, swimming are all to hand as is lazing away in the shade tasting the local brew and bread and cheese. Oh to be in *** now that summers here !
