Leveller?

Just back from a site which needed a fair bit of leveling. I normally use the yellow ramp type but even they were a bit lacking! I saw another caravanner using a metal lifter and when I asked him what it was he said a Bulldog leveler which appeared to do the biz. So what's the opinion on levelers?

Normally the standard yellow ramps are fine, but if you know your going to visit sites that they won't work on look at the mile Co staka ramps.

I've got the milenco wheel lift and it's OK if not a little effort required to turn the screw that raises the van wheel. I prefer to use the wedge type levelling blocks but find it almost impossible to align my wheel lock which locates through the wheel and into the chassis at the point of level so that's the main advantage of the lift for me.

For a single axle caravan, two ramps and some wood blocks does the trick - if one ramp isn't enough, place the second ramp immediately after, but up on blocks to give one long ramp.

I too find the lining up so the Alko wheel lock fits a PITA as slightly up or down the ramp alters the levelling!
