Would you support it if a car towing a caravan with defective brakes jack knifed and crossed the carriageway causing a head on collision that killed someone close to you?
That could just as easily happen if the caravan or trailer detached from the towing vehicle as that seems to happen often. Speeding is probably more of a concern as I have seen people towing overtake us and exceeding the national speed limit. Tyres the next concern and then overladen trailers. If a car hit a caravan, the caravan would be matchsticks and the car probably sustain a couple of scratches. I would be more concern about the car crossing the carriageway and going through the barriers.
