Lights

Can anybody help? We have a 2007 bailey pageant and have a problem with the internal 240v lighting system. When you turn the main light switch on or off, on the panel the lights do not turn off. It’s not the switch as I have replaced this and even when the cables are disconnected the lights still remain on. I know I can turn each light of separately but as the nights are drawing in its easy to leave all the separate light switches on and just use the main switch when entering and leaving the van. I have only had the van since March and they did work for a while. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Tim

Hi Tim
We use to have a S6 Burgundy and the light switch inside the door was for 12v only and the mains lights were switched on each light.
Hope this helps

Its the same on the Senator
When you turn on the 230V it powers the 12V charger and the panel light on is a feature!
I take it you mean the voltmeter
I rewired ours behind the panel
Some people have posted that they like the night light

Note thick red wire on LHS disconnected on bottom pic

I reconnected it to the voltmeter terminal that is live when the button is pressed but this may only be a feature of the Senator
I'm not sure if the button is on the Pageant control panel
It seems an odd feature on the Senator to have a permanently illuminated voltmeter that reads zero until you push a button
