Lightweight Awning

We are thinking of getting a lightweight awning/pop up awning. Any recommendations or things to be aware of please.

Many thanks

We have a techlite1 which is quite big but not great in the wind. Kampa seems to have a bit of a following on here, you might want to have a look at them.

Yep. Kampa Rally.
Bit more expensive than the usual lightweights but worth it.
The buffer poles, monsoon poles for roof and storm straps come as extras but again, worth it. The poles stop the edges vibrating in high winds.
Another point is they don't slope as much as the convential awning which gives you more headroom.
The legs are also adjustable which is ideal if you are on uneven ground where I've been caught out a few times.
I had it erected in the gales last September, although using storm straps, and I never had one loose peg.

Have had and sold a couple of them. Find the ordinary porch easier to errect especially in a gentle breeze or above.
