Hi Peter

Naburn Lock near York has an adult-only section and a family section. They do share the same facilities though. It's a nice site if you like the family atmosphere but want somewhere quiet to escape to.

Our last trip was ruined by noisy teenagers & we've been looking at adult sites. However, if you read the reviews of them on UK Campsites it seems that you might end up with noisy 18-25 groups instead!

We spent a week in June at Cheddar Bridge Caravan Park (in Cheddar, obviously). Small, child free, immaculately maintained and very friendly proprieters. Highly recommended.

Hi Peter,

We have used Lamb Cottage on the outskirts of Chester for short breaks. The site is nicely landscaped, flat and the pitches are all serviced.Toilet facilities are good.....en-suite with your own wash hand basin, toilet and shower. We're staying for a couple of nights again next week on our way south.

Hi

I think the group is called Tranquil Touring Parks. We've just spent the weekend at Croft Park at Little Weighton which is one of their sites. We'd certainly go there again & are going to try some of the others next year.

We have just come back from a week at the adults only Two Mills site in North Walsham and it was wonderful. Very clean and tidy and extremely peaceful. We have stayed at quite a few of the 'Tranquil' sites and they are all very well maintained.
