I do exactly the same. It also means that on removal of the green cap, the socket is bound to be correctly aligned to fit.benshepherd said:I use the green tool all the time - whenever my caravan is unhitched I connect it to the caravan plug rather than just stowing the plug in the A-Frame recess. That's more faffing about with stuff that will get lost or blow away.
