Any experienced traveller have ideas on catching up on a bit of sleep before a 4am ferry in October(bless Camping Cheque Offers!).Travelling from North and not possible to start day before. Don't most laybyes state no overnight parking for caravans?
 
YOU CAN ALWAYS STOP AT CLACKETT LANE SERVICES ON THE M25 ABOUT 1 HOUR AWAY FROM THE DOCKS I THINK YOU CAN PHONE AND BOOK A PARKING SPACE HERE IF NOT FOLKSTONE RACECOURSE SITE IS A FAVORITE WITH MANY CATCHING EARLY FERRIES ETC
