Alsowill it cause many problems having the door on theopposite side to UK made caravans ?

Thanks

DAVID, i'm sure you are aware that the biggest problem you will have and the main reason you do not see too many of these vans is theire reputation as traveller vans. you may have problems getting it insured and i'm sure you would soon tire of being asked questions by site managers. its a shame since they are nice vans.

Hi David, dont know about LMC vans but if they are German made then it will be an excellent van.We have a Hobby, after many British vans that "fell to bits".There isnt a catch with the German vans. They are well made, strong, nicely designed.

No problem with insurance,N.F.U will insure.

These vans are used by travelling people....but this just adds to my point that they are supperior made vans..after all the travellers use them as their HOMe.Good luck and enjoy.

we have had a lmc dominant for 3 years now,no problems what so ever.nfu will insure you /never had any problems on any site..the trouble is everybody thinks they are gypsy vans ,only the big twin axles are the ones they get ,if you buy the smaller vans, you can tow them with a larger car or any 4x4 like the munsterland and dominant.they are so well built.they are also part of the hymer group, which tells you they are quality//if you need any more info let me know.i will never buy a british van again after own ing german, how many british vans leak after 5 years yet the gypsy will have german because they will last

The only reason why gypsies have German vans is because they're not part of the CRIS registration system so they can steal them and not be traced.

European vans are good and i am certainly a fan but wouldn't like to get spares especialy body panels.

Hello Mark here I am a Traveller and I have just brought (not stolen) an LMC Royal from eBay.co.uk and pay hard earned cash for it. It is CRIS registered and all legit and I do not appreciate people accusing Travellers as thieves. So anybody who is looking to buy one of these caravans (trailers) do not be put off by this person (juckels cory)as these are great caravans.

Patricia mentioned Hobby as being a good caravan but there is also Fendt made by the same Germany company. We have had both Hobby and Fendt and find they are better than English vans and much cheaper when bought abroad. We also have the wider van and have found no problem with this. The door has never been a problem and the van has many extra features. If you really want to see what is on offer visit the Dusseldorf Caravan show at the end of August beginning of September and you will have all the choice you want and at very good prices. Both for your van and the new one. All the latest models in 17 hangers of vans and accessories. Stay on site with your van, all facilities it is an experience not to missed if you like to see everything that is on offer and the latest caravans. I can give you more details but you can go to the Dusseldorf Messe web site yourself.

look you collierbred dimloo I do pay me my taxes and I do have a ni number JE 00 XX XX D. and being self employed, I'll put hard earned money on it that I pay more tax than you divy. No doubt you run around a factory all day being a joey for a few quid each week mon-fri 9:00 till 5:00. The boring easy life were me on the other hand, feed, cloth and spoil my wife and 5 children. all through running my own business and i still had time to put my self through open university and get my Diploma in web design. Oh by the way do you realize that you are being racist and by rights I should report you to http://www.ipcc.gov.uk/ so be very careful in what you say in the future or you could find yourself sitting in a cell at your local gavers tan. If you look around you, you will see that most crime and dishonesty are committed by people who live in houses(gorgers)but the worst crimes like rape, nonsen and mugging old people are only committed by gorgers. So get off of your morel high horse and think before you open your mouth! Life is what you make it so live for today because tomorrow might never come?

David I`m a bit late with this but I own a LMC Munsterland 520hte, I can`t fault it now, or the dealership Continental Caravans at Cross Hands S Wales, I had a problem with the seal around the shower but they soon put it right, they also said it was ok to have my local workshop carryout services rather than going all the way back to them, ( I live in the lake district)and the warranty would not be affected.

good luck mate and let us know what you finish up with.

Tony A.

I'll find out this weekend when I'll be at the Caravan Show. The daughter is moving house at the end of the month and it all depends whether and/or when she needs my help but she's in Austria at the moment, coming back on Sunday, so she'll be able to tell me then. I'll be meeting someone in Hall 13, Stand E60, so you could leave a message there.
