Location of water filter

Can anyone tell me where the water filter is located on my 2005 Coachman Amara 530/4? I've checked the owners manual and there are 2 types of water inlet that can be fitted. Mines the one without the Carver Crystal one! I need to remove it so I can flush the system with sterilising fluid without destroying the filter as I have bits in the water when I fill up glasses, cups etc.

Hi Forbes,

The filter, if fitted. will either be an intgral part of the water inlet, from the front as you plug in the pump, a round clear plug about 2 to 3 inches in diameter.

If it is not there, it will probably be located under the sink in the cold water supply to the sink, a long round tube with cold water going in at the bottom an out of the top.

If that is not there as well as the first option, then there is no water filter fitted, as is normal with most vans now.

Hi all

Could somebody answer me these questions.?

1. If your water filter is not changed regularly will it impair the water flow.?

2. Do I need a filter or can I remove it permanently as in newer type vans?

Regards

Leso
