Loch Ness Shores site

Hi everyone

We are looking at booking the Loch Ness Shores site for later this year, and are trying to work out which pitch type would be best to book in order to be pitched in (what looks like) the more spacious top area to give our 3 children as much pace to play as possible! We have caravan+awning.

The options available seem to be grass+electric/hardstanding+electric/jumbo pitch.

Does anybody know how the pitches are laid out at this site? We don't want to get stuck at the bottom which looks like it could be pretty crowded and full of traffic (we could be completely wrong about this!)

Not been to the site but it gets very good reviews. If no one answers I would try ringing the site to ask and I am sure they will help. Enjoy your trip.

Why not examine the site by google earth, it will give you a pretty good idea of the layout.

Be prepared for the midgies, children playing out at dusk may get savaged, the little blighters are voracious. Worth stocking up on Skin so Soft, seems to be the best of the things used as repellants.

Thank you

We tried Google earth but the site is too new for that, managed to find some aerial shots from a drone in the end!

It looks like a great site for kids,at the top there is a mixture of hard standing and camping with what looks like a play area and huge field behind.

We may be wrong of course but we have high hopes.
