Log on problems

I came back from holidays at the begining of the month and saw the new format for the first time. I couldn't initially log on but was given an extension to my user name via email and eventually did.

I edited my user name back to it's original ( A different Jim ) and everything was fine. I even posted a topic on Matador Tyres and later responded so everything was working ok.

However for the last week or so I haven't been able to log on. It is not registering my user name and password together. I've requested a new password on a few occasions but all I get is a link to log on with no new password.

When I re-registered, with a new password, user name and e-mail address my previous user name and e-mail came up as already taken.

I'm not a fan of the new set-up but I'm willing to give it a go, but my patience is starting to wear thin.

Especially as this is the second time I've attempted to post this. The first time, for some reason unknown to me, didn't appear.

If you click the link to log on you will get the option to change your password in your profile area.

If you let me know what your other username is I can have a look and we can get it working again.

The topic has turned up twice so I will delete the other one.

I know I can change my settings but I can only do that if I can log on. But I can't under my previous user name A different Jim

I have just sent an email to the email address registered to A different Jim, let me know if you have any more problems.

How do you change your user name but keep your original email address?

Just change the username on the edit profile page and leave the email address alone, if you have registered twice it might get interesting...
