Looking for a double inflateable air bed

We are in the process of kitting out the awning for a a double kid stop over, got the annex and the inner tent but could do with some advice on blow up double air beds.

Self inflatable with built in pumps, the self inflating that blow them selves up or the good old basic type and a separate pump, give us some of your ideas and what you use.

Problem I have found with double air beds is that if one person turns over the other one bounces. Two singles might be better. Shops like Lidle sometimes stock them reasonably priced so buying three means you have a spare should your double kid guests manage to puncture one . We used a hairdrier for the main inflation then lung power to finish the job though now I have a battery ( four D size )powered blower bought at B&Q for the princely sum of

Before we had the luxury of a caravan we did many years camping. We used a car tyre inflator, via the cigarette lighter. No trouble at all and the kids loved doing it themselves.

Just discovered that our local Tesco Extra store has air beds Single

We have a double mattress for the chldren and they have no complaints, even my husband and my I have slept on it and we were ok too.

We bought the battery type pump form Index if I remember right, the batteries leaked in it so we threw it after a week. Can't remember what batteries they were but they weren't cheap other wise it would not have powered the machine.

Last year we picked up a electric pump

Thanks for your thoughts, sound like a normal blow up type double with a high volume electric inflator is the anwser and the most cost effective option
