Bit of an update -
The dealership have been back in contact today, they have found 20% damp to the wheel arch area (we found 40%). They argued the fact their damp meters are very expensive and calibrated regularly and mine mustn’t be very good. To which I’ve replied and is true, my damp meter belongs to the company I work for who specialise in damp and carry out multi million pound contracts.
They haven’t damp tested the full van , only one area, they are blaming a crack in the battery box which could be true and are replacing that as agreed on collection, I pointed out this was never mentioned or agreed.
They haven’t looked at the list of issues we also found.
We now have a meeting on Friday to resolve the issue.
I am within our returns period as I reported within 5 days.
