Loose threads, what do yo do?

I have an Isabella awning, it was bought new in 2005 I notice that every time I use it there are loose threads round the seams, I have cut these off, tried burning them and even sprayed the b*****s with seam spray.But when I put it up recently where the panels zip in there they are loose threads, does anybody else have this problem if you do how do you stop it

Not tried it, so dont know if it would work, but you could try coating it with some clear nail varnish??
