Our long term friend Lord B has been very quiet this year. He says he's lost his-password or otherwise Lord Hezza has excommunicated him .LOL
The reality is Her Ladyship hasn't been too chipper.

Briefly she had a tumour removed from her liver last month at the Birmingham QE.
Good news is that no tumour now exists and the doctors have told her to carry on as normal.

I am sure you will all join me in wishing His Lordship and Her Ladyship many more years of happy caravanning.

All the very best to both of them, hopefully the marvellous medics at QE in Brum have worked their magic which they do daily as a matter of routine. I had my bypass there and have had a healthy ticker ever since

Lord B isn't on the naughty step, his forum account is still active but no doubt he's had more to worry about than his forum password.
I know that he enjoys the Club Together CC forum where he can argue politics to his hearts content but I'll email him to sort out his password woes if he wants a rest from the political stuff to talk about caravans for a change.

Glad to hear Lord B is still around, albeit on another caravan forum. Hope her Ladyship continues to make a good recovery. We miss his banter!

Like to wish her Ladyship (and I suppose Lord B) all the best for the future and hope they get back to vanning in the very near future.
Using another forum............ Tut Tut
All the best to you both.

Thank you all and it's true what Steve said Kev, I can debate stuff that would get me tied up and gagged on here
smiley-smile.gif

Talking about debating has anyone seen Aberdeen Frank on here lately. I miss him
smiley-cry.gif

Anyway I digress, I must get off this flaming computer and get some more jobs done. Got the grime off the van yesterday, going to wax it today.
I think.
Still warm though.
Might wait until later.
I'll have a cold drink of blackcurrant and soda to consider my options.
No, I'll have a drink of lager instead because my minds already made up.
I'll do it tomorrow

I wondered where you'd been. Herself and I have been out of contact for three months too, but ours was self-inflicted for pleasure.(and you can make of that what you will)
I did email you just before we left the country, but it's obvious that you had much more important things on your mind at that time.
Give her Ladyship a great big Welsh "cwtch" from both of us.
, and welcome back, mate.

Hi Emmo and thank you. I didn't receive any email and I still have the same addy. From memory we had this problem before. Just an idea but you wouldn't be sending it in Welsh would you so it keeps getting rejected
smiley-undecided.gif
Don't forget those cyber postmen in Etherland only understand American English
smiley-smile.gif

I guess you've been off to Oz or somewhere like that. Hope all went well and you had a good time.
Since my wife was diagnosed with cancer our youngest sons wife became pregnant which gave Her Ladyship something to aim for and yesterday we received more good news. Our granddaughter is on holiday in Florida with her boyfriend and his parents. Yesterday, when at Disneyworld, he knelt down and proposed to her in front of Cinderellas castle

I haven't seen anything of Frank on any of the main caravan forums Lord B, same with Scotch Lad.
Perhaps Big Eck has shut down all communication between them and the auld enemy unless Frank is Appyippy in disguise as a Welshman

Appyippy is something else Steve. I don't think he knows who he is himself bless his lil cotton socks.
It was so nice with plenty of banter the past week. That is until he came home yesterday
smiley-yell.gif

In a way it's good for his wife because him being on there gives her some peace because she's been ill with the same problems as Her Ladyship. I bet he argues with his pillow when he's asleep
smiley-smile.gif

Her Ladyship has been pressurising me all morning to do things checking and packing the caravan saying hurry up it's going to rain soon. Five hours later and still no sign of rain.

Thank you both. Had the steadies up this morning to test the brakes hoping they hadn't seized. We have to use the handbrake because of the slope the vans on. I dare say the steadies might hold it but not going to chance it. I chanced it once too often before with sad consequences for the van roof as it hit our guttering
smiley-cry.gif

What I will guarantee is it will be raining tomorrow along the M5/M42/M1 because we hardly go anywhere without it raining and arriving with a filthy van. Why I always clean before going away I don't know

It's persisting it down here in the West Midlands at the moment but it's supposed to clear tomorrow.

07.23 and the sun is trying it's best despite the cloud. No rain but the roads are wet. All my cleaning effort is wasted again which is the norm. By the time we get there the front will be the colour of pepper and salt

Good to have you back in the fold and Best Wishes to her Ladyship.
We're just back from our second visit to a great CL you recommended a while ago, in North Yorkshire. Thanks for that. Can't mention which one, as we want to go back again!

spying, nah not really, I am a member over there but rarely post, just look in from time to time and saw you were active, far too much emphasis on trivia for me
smiley-wink.gif
,
I am fine, still working

but her highness is not so good her illness progresses at a pace with no let up, not been out with the van this year been far too busy converting the house to be more wheelchair friendly, ramps, wider doors, stairlift, ect, although we hope to get away for a week in south devon sometime in september.
