can anyone recommend low moor head CL longtowm carlisle, on its website it shows a wood or forest the back of the site, can this be accessed from the site, it looks like a great dog walk, how close are the nearest shops/supermarket. all reviews greatly appreciated, regards mark

It`s about 2 mile from Longtown, which has basic shopping facilities, Spar, Fuel, Bank`s and smaller specialist stores. Your about 10 mile north of Carlisle, which has anything you could possibly want in the way of shops leisure etc. You should be fine for dog walking, as long as you check with the site for stock in fields. Your not far from Kershope forest which spreads over 1000`s of acres.
 
and can the wood that borders the site be accessed directly from the site? that looks ideal for the 1st and last little dog walk of the day, does it have tracks/footpaths in it, and also i am led to believe that each pitch has its own water tap is this true?
