Low Water Pressure

Hi all Techies on the forum please could you advise why the kitchen water pressure is lower than all the other outlets on my van.

I refer to an Ace Supreme Twinstar.

I have bought a new pump and would say the pressure maybe a little higher elsewhere.

Or could it be the preesure should be lower at this point for a reason. Many thanks Stewart.

Hello Stewart,

I do wonder if you mean reduced pressure or reduced flow? I guess you really mean a reduced flow.

I have never come across a design that lowers the pressure at the kitchen sink, but due tto teh layout of pipes there may be a slightly reduced flow.

If it is significantly reduced, then it is most likely a blocked or kinked delivery pipe some where in the caravan.

so assuming that is true for your design, there should be the same pressure available.

John L many thanks , I do stand corrected yes I would say a reduced flow is probably right .

It doesnty cause a problem but was concerned a bout the flow.

We had a similar problem on our Bailey after renewing the surge damper and checking the pipes and other things still had the problem. So checked the taps in kitchen and found that the mesh filter in the end of the tap was clogged removed this and cleaned and now good as new. hope this helps
