Has any one been to Lower Clough foot CC Site saw on the survey map load of footpath for walking, just what we like with our two dogs, any good pub near by, How far is Last of the summer wine cafe? Thank You. Trevor
 
Haven't been to Lower Clough Foot for a long time (over 20 years ago) and cannot remember were the nearest pub was. I do remember having a super meal at a farmhouse/restaurant within walking distance of the site though.

'Last of the Summer Wine' is filmed in Holmfirth about 20 miles away.
 
not been there for years but remember having dinner at a pub about 2 miles from site.turn right out of the site and follow road for maybe a mile or so then theres a turn to the right down a fairly steep, winding road with a pub at the bottom on the righthand side , dont know what its called, was a long time ago.remember some decent walks though and there is (was ? ) a stream running along one side of the site behind a stone wall.
