For a while in the past the UK company Lunar Caravans was owned by the Belgian manufacturer Chateau that was, in turn, part of the Belgian Tirus Group. During that period, in addition to motorhomes being built at Lunar’s UK factory at Preston, Belgian-built motorhomes were imported to the UK where they were marketed either as Lunar “Champs” or under the brand-name “Home-Car” that was used when the equivalent vehicles were sold in Continental Europe.

In late 2007 the Tirus Group went bankrupt, Lunar Caravans had a management buy-out, and the import of Champ and Home-Car motorhomes ceased in 2008.

This link is to a 2012 MotorHomeFacts forum enquiry about obtaining spares to repair a Lunar Champ, when Home-Car was still operating abroad.

I don’t think Home-car exists today, so I’ve no idea where you might obtain external bodywork parts for your Champ A541. If it’s the glass-fibre moulding at the front of the over-cab ‘luton’ that has been damaged, I’m very doubtful that you could source a new replacement nowadays. However - unless the damage were truly catastrophic - a repair by a GRP specialist might be possible.

Assuming that you’ve asked Lunar Caravans for advice, what was the answer?
