This morning we have the most fantastic view of the eclipse of the moon, to the North East of the house, in a clear sky. It's now about one third across, and totality is about 7.30 (I think). An eclipse hasn't happened on the Winter Solstice for about 10,000 years, apparently. Get out there now and see if you can see it!

St Thomas's day today when money was traditionally given to the poor so check your emails for messages from those kind people in the Congo or Ghana who want to share their inheritance with you.
At least the nights will start to become lighter after today.

I missed it, in fact, if I'm being truthful, I didn't know anything about it.

How bad is that?????
