Lunar LED Side Marker Lights

Anybody else had problems with LED Side Marker lamps on 2013 Lunar Lexon models? I have had ten units replaced over the short life of my 'van, which seems a bit unacceptable. I thought LED lamps were supposed to be more reliable and last LONGER than old-style incandescent bulbs (certainly this is the case with domestic bulbs) so I'm surprised at the turn-over we're experiencing. Also, when we used to change a bulb in 'the good old days' I could do it myself with a screwdriver, and the bulbs cost a quid apiece - LED are whole-unit replacement only (at £10+vat each) and dealer-fit (£50 for half an hour's labour). This is supposedly progress. Is it me?
 
I had 2 side marker lights fail on a 2013 Lunar Delta. . All six lights are being replaced under warranty with a different type.

Useful info for my complaint! Dealer hiding behind 2 year warranty (a month outside), so collecting info on 'fit for purpose'.
