Lunar Venus 2014 where to connect new breakaway cable

Hi. My handbrake breakaway cable has corroded and detached so I need to replace it. I've bought a new one but cannot see where it should attach to the handbrake mechanism. Could someone please send me a photo of where yours it attached. I presume all models from the 2014 or near era will have a similar mechanism. I attach photos of my mechanism. Thank you in anticipation.

If you look underneath the A frame and get someone to apply the handbrake you will see the bottom of the mechanism move forwards towards the hitch. In this you will see a hole in which to attach the end of the cable. When the handbrake is released you will see this lever move towards the rear of the caravan,

What a wonderfully clear, straightforward and easy to follow explanation. Even I could do it by following this. Well done

I did not recognise the OP's over run /hitch as the Alko one?
I thought Lunar used Alko. My 2015 Clubman definitely did. Google shows that earlier models did as-well. But I also did not recognise it from the OP’s picture.

But even so, the fitting principle is the same. Particularly if it has that heavy duty circling to deal with.

Okay John, its just as I said I did not recognise it as the Alko ones I know very well.
The rusty cross pin shown in the picture at the lower end of the handbrake lever could be part of the breakaway system, but that is only guesswork?

My 2013 Clubman also uses an Alko chassis so it would be perverse if a 2014 Venus didn't.
