Luxembourg, anyone been?

Hi, we are new online members but have read the magazine for a while. We have a MAESSS Evolution motorhome and have yet to meet another one, there must be some out there!
We are contemplating going to Luxembourg, anyone been? any hints and tips please?

Luxembourg is well worth a few days looking at plus the cost of fuel is the lowest we find. Look out for the Little Switzerland area as we found it a great place. Luxembourg city is ok not great but if you have time have a look. You cannot wildcamp and no aires but sites are not a bad price. Have fun.

We were in Luxembourg last year on the way to the Mosel. It's well worth a stop to fill up with the cheap fuel, but also can very highly recommend Vianden. We stayed on a lovely campsite on the river, a short walk to the charming town. Can also recommend the scary but worth it cable car that takes you high above the chateau. Very friendly locals and good beer too

A beautiful country and definitely worth a visit. As has been said, the Little Switzerland area is lovely . It's worth getting the most recent aires book for Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, as it lists the Quickstops in Lux, which are motorhome parking areas by or in campsites; fewer facilities than the sites themselves, reflected in a lower price. Enjoy your trip 🙂
