Luxury Park needed in the North...

Its my better half's 40th in April, and hoping to have a weekend away without the children sometime. Is anybody aware of any luxury touring parks in the North (yorkshire, lanchashire, lakes area) rather than the normal. Somewhere with perhaps spa's, swimming pools etc. Not really bothered in how much it costs, just want somewhere a little bit special.

Steve, Have a look at Holgates at Silverdale on the north lancs,cumbria border. It has pool, spa, gym, sauna and restaurant. Spent a long weekend there cople of years ago and had a great time. Richard S

Thanks for the feedback from all of you. The Holgates site does look quite good when looking at its website. I will probably go for that one.

off to holgates next weekend - been several times before. its well worth it particularly in dodgy/winter seasons - all hardstanding no mud excellent indoor facilites.

Unless you really need it forget the awning, and if you do make sure you've got some serious hard ground pegs!
