M5 services accessible both ways from M42 junction down to M4...

Can anyone tell me are there any services accessible both ways on M5 from M42 down to M4 junction?

If you mean, can you travel from north to south and visa versa, the answer is no, but all services are accessable from either the n or s

Hello Allyson.

Yes, there are two separate service areas available to you.

The first you would come to ( assuming that you are heading south ) would be at Strencham close to the M50 junction with the M5 and therefore 24 miles south of the M42 junction.

The second ( and in my opinion the better of the two ), is the Michaelwood Service area which is a further 33 miles south.

Hi All

I should have said that I am meeting someone coming North Bound when I will be travelling South bound, hence why I wanted to have a service station which would be accesible from both sides.

I can see at Michaelwood Station there is a footbridge, but someone told me you can access both sides of Strensham by car but I cannot find any info, however I did find this on the site Rita suggested:-

Other Facilities/Information: This really ought to be listed as two separate sites, given that there's no pedestrian access between the two sides. Give sufficient round tuits that might happen, one day.

sorry to say but none of them have direct access from the service, strensham would be best as if you heading south its only a mile to turn around, but if your the one going north its a 9 mile each way trip, you could come off m5 jn 12, head towards gloucester its about mile and a half to a mcdonalds/petrol station, best i can think of for you, mike

I have found the solution we are both coming off at Junction 5 M5 Droitwich and we are going to meet at the Little Chef, if this is closed due to the credit crunch we'll meet in McDonalds.
