We stayed at a site in Eperlques which had had a number of break ins earlier in the season. Next to us was a static with no sign of life and curtains all drawn. As the sun set the occupants appeared. They were the new security contingent. Ex French Foreign Legion. Nice to chat to. No more burglaries.

🤞but as long as we stick to our insurance security conditions there is nothing that would worry us if it got nicked. Uninsured 😢😢
I think we'd be beside ourselves if our caravan was stolen which is why it is kept in secure storage and boxed in completely whilst we prepare the 'van on our driveway. They become so very personal over time.

Were off down to Cornwall again this year and stopping at a small site near Slimbridge / Stroud area. 20 quid of a decent nights sleep about 10 min from the M5. Lovely small site for a stopover. Will be using it a few weeks later on the way home. We once had to stay overnight at a services. Bloody horrible night. very little sleep etc. I always look for a CS or LS these days.
