Purely precautionary. Hopefully when Covid is fully dealt with caravans will be up for sale, cheap, and sites under far less pressure.
This year a lot of sites are fully booked at weekends but free weekdays. No good if you want two consecutive weeks,.

We must be lucky as 10 days ago booked a fully serviced pitch at a popular site near pool no issue. Last weekend booked a fully serviced pitch for the Bank Holiday. Also the same for mid August in Wales. I think you need to book the correct sites and avoid CAMC sites. LOL! 😀
 
Not one was a CAMC. One on the Scottish Borders. Seems a lot store their caravans on site and have them dragged out for the weekend.

We are thinking off going to Scotland in 2022 not made our mind how far it depends how I get on this year 😉
