Making up Back Bed ?

Hi, we are off the last weekend of january and are taking the young one and her wee friend with us, today i set about making up the double bed at the rear to see how long it would take and also to see what it was like. my caravan is an abbey aventura 5 berth with the twin dinette. the bed was assembled in a matter of minutes which impressed me but i then had a closer look at the finished item. once the slats are pulled out there are only 4 parts of the seating that can be used for the bed, no matter what way i look at it there is always a gap at one of the corners, i take it you put the corner backrest in here, end up ?, seems the only way to finish off the area, even though it looks a bit out of place.

any tips would be much appreciated as this will be my first time using this and once again, the handbook is so vague with instructions.

cheers.

Hi there

in my abbey aventura i have a piece that is kept under the seats which fills this gap you should have one too is yours the 316 model

hi raymond, yes it is the 316 model. i noticed there were some sort of bedding/matting stored under the seats, but i assumed these would be for the overhead bunk bed.

there should be a square piece that fits in the hole thats left when u make up the bed you dont use the corner piece at all

good luck
