Hi,

Having read quite a few posts where people comment on maufacturers shortcomings, praise them, raise queries - would it be possible to have a heading for each manufacturer into which these issues can be 'dropped' - at the same time asking each manufacturer if they would like to participate by answering queries or offering assistance?

This would provide them with 'real feedback' on their products (good & bad) - it might also give them their chance to add their side of things ?

Hi Jonathan

Swift Group and Bailey participate in and monitor this forum amongst others and your idea sounds great.

The problem is that the software that was used when this forum was set up has now become outdated and I have a feeling that those with the know how to make changes to the forum may have moved on.

While the economic downturn lasts we have to carry on with what we have, hopefully things will pick up before too long.

Another slight problem might be that a company wouldn't wish to 'put their side of things' on a public forum and the website host or the moderators have no way to check the facts either way and have no remit or wish to act as arbiters in disputes between manufacturers, dealers and their customers.

We do however welcome forum participation from all manufacturers of caravans and accessories as well as caravan site owners.
