Mattress Topper

Hi all,

I have trouble getting comfortable in my Caravan bed, has anyone got any experience of a memory foam Matress Topper. They are quite expensive and would appreciate any feedback before I buy one, thanks.

My wife and I use the single bunks. Jan cut a double size topper down the centre and made a fitted protector cover for each. Sheets were used to make each topper a sleeve secured at one end by Velcro. We use single size 4.5 duvets with covers. In the morning each bedding roll is rolled up and tucked away. Simple convenient and quick, and very comfortable.

We have just had the same problem and purchased from Decathlon self inflatable mattress by Quecha (only 1" depth). Cost about 24 euros each but they really seem to work. Very light, easy to fold up and store. Very impressed.

Hi Jo-anne,

if you google memory foam mattress topper there comes up afew, memory foam warehouse etc I spoke to a couple of these on Friday all seem reasonable and will cut them to size at a cost.

thanks

Hollypop.

Mattress Toppers - wonderful invention - bought one for our previous van - now using it (with the corner cut off) in our current fixed bed. We sleep like logs - better than at home!! We bought quite a thick one - were advised to do so after looking at thinner ones. Bought ours locally (near Southend on Sea)
