Our Next topper has lost its memory after 8 years and we were thinking of a Duvalay shaped one (we shaped the Next one ourselves)
Has anyone got any other suggestions and also is the Gold duvalay worth £60 extra to the silver, they are £149 and £209 plus delivery I expect
Thanks for any advice

We bought a higher quality memory foam off the Internet for £60 a few years ago as we thought the shaped Duvalay way over priced!

Hi Deli Dave,
Cant comment on the silver one, went straight for gold

Yes they are expensive but it is down to personal choice, I didnt want to waste money by buying a couple of cheapies and then finding out they were no good, As I have mentioned before when its not in the van it's on my bed indoors, both beds are nearly the same size except for the cut off which goes under my pillow.
Dave as you have had one before you will know if it's just for comfort in that case you could go for a cheaper version or if it's to aid bad back (which mine is) you may want to consider the Duvalay,
You email the make of your van and size to them they will then ask you to confirm the size in a return email,

Hi Kev,Thanks for the reply. We both have bad backs and also like you,I didnt want to buy one and change it cos we wernt happy so I thought I would get a recomendation.I think I'll order the Gold one then and be done with it.Looking around they are no dearer than other shaped ones and considerably less than one I found in Caravan Club magazine.

I have a bad back issue plus rheumatoid arthritis so it is essential that I use a quality mattress and topper. Unfortunately I no longer have the bookmark, but it could be Memory Foam warehouse.. Originally we had a topper from a supply that advertises regularly in the magazine, but we might as well not have bothered. Within months we had to buy a thicker one with a higher density. Here is a link to what to look for when looking at density. If the advert does not state density move on to another. I think ours is a 60kg density.
