maverick V6

We are looking for a 4x4 for towing-any thoughts on the Maverick V6 auto. We realise it is espensive to run but so are most of them. What aboutkerb weights and nose weights?

We have just bought a Maverick, P reg, but 2.7 TDI. I have found it great so far, getting around 25-28 mpg including 100 miles of towing. Insurance group 10 for ours. I believe the noseweight is 100kg and the vehicle weight is over 2000kg. Towing maximum is 1800kg. No problems so far, find it really comfortable to drive in. Big test at Easter, going up to Scotland with the van.

Sorry, those figures were from memory, can look them up at home later if you would like.

I think you'll find the kerbweight to be just over 1500kg and the max. towload for a V6 to be 1700kg.

Hi David

Sorry to hear of your new purchase. Shouldn't have thought hanging about waiting for breakdown trucks would do your health much good.

Happy motoring
