Mercedes c class c220 cdi blueefficiency se 5 doors 2.1

Looked at a C Class estate a few years ago and found it too cramped. Bought my current E220 saloon instead, basically the same engine,
Some SE versions have rear seats which will fold forward 1/3 and 2/3 giving estate car loadspace length but height restricted by rear window. Nonethe less long items -poles etc. easily carried. So far - just coming up 4 years old (and touching wood) has had only routine service at yearly intervals and this has not been too expensive, particularly as it includes collection and delivery (80 miles round trip) and car comes back well cleaned inside and out.
The 220 diesel has higher power and torque than the 270 5 cylinder in my previous ML and tows very well. Towing mpg better than the ML and solo mpg ver very much better.
So if you can cope with the body size if the C Class it should be a good one. Check the max. ball weight - it may be a bit on the low side

Hi Ray S
Sorry for the late reply, Many Thanks for the info, look a lovely car at the garage for sale, but 2 thing, one is the nose weight and the other, bit too long to fit in the garage, as I don't like leaving the car out at night and a empty garage at night, cost more to insure if left out at night, Many Thanks Trevor123
