I drive about 25,000 miles per year in my Toyota Land Cruiser but its starting to get a bit expensive. I have the opportunity to change to a new (But outgoing model) Mercedes E220 CDI ( 2.2 Litre diesel ) but is it man enough for my Coachman 520/4 caravan which is a bit on the heavy side. The caravan is an 89% match which although not ideal is OK for an experienced caravanner. Its the power from that 2.2 I am worried about - being used to a strong 3 litre. 48 to the gallon instead of my current 28 would save me about £2,000 per yr in fuel.
